Beggars Group
Beggars group is one of the worlds largest independent label groups and was founded by Martin Mills.
Their ethos is purely focused Dedicated to its authors' rights and resolute independence, it manages its own rights in a full-service office with specially skilled management. We firmly think that a publisher's job is to enhance the lives and careers of writers, and that in order to accomplish so, we must continue to be at the forefront of technological and industry advancements.
Beggars Banquet began as a small network of independent record stores in West London. In 1977, encouraged by the then-dominant DIY aesthetics of punk, the label's debut band, The Lurkers, released their iconic "Shadow" / "Love Story" 7" single.

My Artist
The artist I have chosen to do is the band Rainbow Kitten Surprise. The reason I chose this band is because I feel they would offer a lot to the beggars group as they have the same type of genre while adding different twists to the genre. Not only would they help keep the already loyal fans of the beggars group entertained but they would also attract new fans.
Song choice
The song I chose to use is called 'Free Fall' My reasoning for this choice is because it fits in with the catalogue of the beggars group and really adds to the indie vibe which is so prominent in the artists songs in Beggars group. The song was released on their album How To: Friend, Love, Free fall.
